![]() There are some single target powerful enemies like the dragons in which it is nice to have a class that does lots of damage single target (like a rogue). In terms of OPness, there are no pure single target encounters in the entire game. They can disable and debuff entire packs with no preparation as long as they have spells still ready to cast. Wizards are sort of power utility players with the option of also doing huge amounts of damage. Minor Avatar alone makes the priest nearly unstoppable. Priests are absurd with some levels in them either solo or in a party.
